This online eLearning award provides a basic and engaging introduction to the organisation of football practices in a fun, safe environment with an emphasis on engaging with the young players of today. 

This course is the introduction course and has to be completed, before you are able to then move onto the C certificate course with the FAW & Harcus Consultancy Group in Asia.

The award provides coaches with an opportunity to discover and consider the technical and social support that we, as coaches, can provide to our players, discussing various practical aspects. These include: the importance of area size, practice transitions, progressions and regressions, as well as ensuring the learner takes a closer look at themselves, their role as a coach, and how they currently share the messages they provide players. The FAW C Certificate is needed before advancing onto the next level. This can only be done AFTER you have completed the FAW Football Leaders Award.

It is designed to educate student coaches in the technical, physical, psychological and social requirements of modern football. 

It will develop student coaches ability to plan, prepare, deliver and reflect on coaching sessions for the development of players. Coaches will be provided with a designated mentor to support their individual journey across the FAW C Certificate. Coaches are required to attend a combination of practical and theory lectures, complete eLearning modules and distance learning tasks.

This FAW Football Emergency Aid course is a three-hour online course developing an awareness of first aid techniques within a football environment

This course has been designed by the FAW Medical Department to meet the needs of grassroots football and the requirements of the FAW Club Accreditation Scheme. This course  is needed in conjunction with the successful application in order to be permitted onto the next level. The same can be said for the Safeguarding course.

This three-hour interactive online course, from the FAW, will support candidates in developing good practice when working with children and vulnerable adults from across to world of football.

The online workshop will focus on identifying poor practice and recognising signs, symptoms and forms of abuse and how to react to concerns or disclosures.
